where’s phylor?: an update

Sunday Morning

Sunday Morning (Photo credit: jspaw)

I’ve been intermittently absent and present from my blog. As usual, real life intervened.

I’ve been dealing with some biazzaro and annoying new symptoms that dr. attributes to a worsening of my acid reflux. My meds for it stopped working two years ago and I’ve been under a great deal of more-than-the-usual amount of stresses.

Having an endoscopy by my new “GI guy” in early July; last one in 2008 showed scarring on my stomach and esophagus. I can imagine that once Dexilant stopped working and I was living on Zantac, the damage is worse. I have to stop Zantac two weeks before procedure – as well as stop gap med from my dr. More on the “GI guy” and my two new acid reflux regimes in a hand-written yet to be computer recorded post.

Been battling pavement ants for weeks. No more on this incase there are any “antophobes” reading the post.

Have been writing; half formed ideas for posts on a variety of topics.

But what’s exciting is I’ve been writing my book – in fact – ideas for books (mystery novels). I’ve written the first half of the original book in my head, and made some rough notes in long hand. Spent time organizing ideas, writing a first draft of the prologue, and trying to record my head-writing. Not necessarily in order these will appear in the book. Gone over some so many times, I actually remember them.

And, on Sunday, driving back from the grocery store with hubby, I saw a sign that sparked an idea for a whole DIFFERENT mystery novel protagonist, and room for sequels if requested/required.

Have some “novel” ideas (excuse the pun – punchy from a weekend of off and on again sleep (mostly off) due to a cold) as to the structure, form, and presentation of material in each book in each series.

So wish me luck. I will post when I emerge from my books (have to focus on first even though getting ideas in the original one for sequels); writing one and outlining parts of the second idea.

When I feel more confident about them, I might share some of my ideas and perhaps some extracts – time will tell.

Also, want to post some pictures– yes, I’ve taken out my camera again here or on my facebook page. Yes, gasp, I have one I sometimes play with. phylor wordpress on facebook, if you’re interested.

Hope all is as well as it can be with readers. Wishing you cool nights and warm days with gentle breezes; seems like most of us are suffering through violent weather and heat waves. Take good care everyone. (Of course, that’s presuming there is an everyone, lol)
