Gorgeous colors!!! Great shot. I am not sure if it is a Calla Lily — at least the one’s I am familiar with. Nevertheless, wonderful! I am trying to capture the opening of some of my mom’s amaryllis from buds to flower …

Like your new blog theme — was it difficult to switch themes? A lot of work or organizing?

Thanks — I like the idea of your amaryllis project!
I use wordpress.com as host, so I went through the free themes, and did the previews to see how my blog would look. The theme is also described, so I could see if it might certain criteria. It took awhile til I found one that I liked. I can change the color (some you can’t unless you pay) and I think have a 3rd column.) If you use wordpress, it’s on your dashboard under appearances.

It took so long to get my blog to where it is, that I am afraid that I would “lose” something in the transition process, and if I did not like it — would I be able to get it back!! :D

Thanks Jennifer. It was beautiful, but unfortunately is no more.
The town where I go to do shopping has planters along main street with this flower as the center showy.

It would be nice, but unfortunately, it didn’t make it to 2014. I think it was a canna lily, but I’m not sure!
