one word photo challenge: Peach

DSCN1844

Confession: I have a very difficult time distinguishing between peach, salmon, and certain shades of pink. So, I almost submitted the same flower used for salmon for peach, lol.

These images, I think are “peachy.” If they are salmon, pink or something else, my apologies!

So funny! I had to know so much about color in school…funny things they teach you when you are an art major huh? (most funny is that I know many artist who went to college…for ART who never studied colors…ugh!)

so each time you said a color, it popped in my head and I could distinguish it right away….however, I always know that others don’t know the difference. and Stuart will argue with ME about what color something is! ME!!

I was very proud of my color skills in college…..perfect in that class….He argues with ME?!?!?!

    OK…..I hear you laughing.

Trying not to laugh too hard! I have a color-blind friend who I do laugh at when he gets some strange combinations together!

funny thing…..there was a color blind guy in this class, if it wasn’t for me, he would never have passed!

he did well, after I helped him with his initial colors and we labeled them all. then he could mix them and get them pretty darn close just by comparing to mine…I was amazed. Teacher was amazed….so overlooked my little bit of “help”.

needless to say, his specialty was Black and White photography, unfortunately, a lot of color classes were required. (he ended up doing very well last I heard!)

I like b&w photography. Before my good camera was stolen many years ago, I only took b&w. Hope he was able to stay with the media he did best in — b&w

These are perfect! I see pink, salmon and peach all in the same family anyway- barely a difference. Thanks for sharing :)
