mindlovemisery’s menagerie wordle 14: string around my finger; wordle 15: promethean struggle

two for one: 2 wordles; 2 poems. forbear the poetry!

Wordle 14

wordle 14: string around my finger

crisp air

strong with chrysanthemums

& autumnal equinox

inures me from the truth

a pawn in a phantom relationship

string tied around my finger

remember, we once shared tea

not a scintilla

nor illegitimate thought

of me

troubles your cloudless sky

so I graze drunken pastures

palaver with strangers

looking over their shoulders

for scorpion signs of you

Wordle15

wordle 15: promethean struggle

she postures herself

on the divan

afghan, book

oh, so serenely

watching them through

french doors

oh, her promethean struggle

to feel erotic hands

slather her with oil

feel passion of sun

on exposed skin

or, stay sheltered

by nimbus clouds

suspended from her

ceiling

Love this and what you have created with the words from the wordle.

      Thanks Colline.
It is an interesting challenge to write poetry (and prose) from a list of words. A great exercise for the imagination!
