between halo and horns

between halo and horns

tight, concentric circles

etch the copper of my

lone orchid

whole spirit

of my being

falls slowly

into chasm

and death

and horns

I liked this, in fact isn’t ‘halo and horns’ a sort of oxymoron? Great image by the way.

Could be an oxymoron; glad you like the imagery.

      Thank you.
It’s been far too long since I’ve read your stuff! My loss!

I’ve missed reading your work too … I’ve been having some difficulties with my computer and so wind up writing haiku on Blogger and fall behind reading MLMM post and my WP notifications … I have less difficulties with Blogger than with WP editor … if you want to drop by there:

Will drop by your blogger blog spot; nice to connect again!

I do so agree … I’m on a land line connection and between one thing and another can’t do a lot of reading before the darn things starts giving me the “internet is down” message. :-(
