walk with me

Feet squish-squash in receding tidal sand.

One set of foot prints. Could there be two.

You blaze into my life with bunches of sunflowers

Yellow balloons, orange junk jewelry.

You make me laugh at silly things.

At myself.

Who brings you

star-gazing nights?

Walk with me

on this beach

in this solstice sunset

and I will.

Written for The Rattling Bones Sunday Inspiration Quote 11.

I thought of sunshine colours when I read the quote. Walk with Me really did spill out from there.
