silent silence

@ phylor/taleweavering, 2014

when we first walked out together

awkward silence

madeusnervouslyblurtsomethingsillyandstupidoutbothatonce

leading us to be silent again

when we walked out together hands and hearts entwined

comfortable silence

knowing each other’s thoughts and love’s closeness

leading us to be silent again

when we now walk out not close together

awkward silence

nothing left to say the other wants to hear

leading us to be [sadly] silent again

interesting and sad but often real portrayal of a relationship as it begins, evolves and changes, and then sits, on the plateau of silence – not comfortable, yet the weight of the familiar, heavy, yet unable to move – in any direction.

    Great write.
