our unsynchronistic summer

Collage 27

we kept time that summer with 20 unsynchronized  pocket watches

ticking 20 different hours; so dawn could streak by a multitude of times

twilight kisses lasted past ordinary midnight

chaos logarithms; chaos theory; spider tattoo

butterfly wings in Norway; Queen Anne’s Lace in Cape Cod

postcards from Mongolia; love letters from Maine

I’d await you presence; floral print dresses and black high top Cons

you were my knight in tarnished armor; no pocket for a watch

The quote is: Normal is an illusion. What is normal for the spider [is] chaos for the fly. Charles Addams

I loved the entire piece – from start to finish – each line just enough to catch and essence yet clearly paint a picture, sweeping along like a minute hand, from one to the next! <3

Thank you, you are most generous in your comments. Just as I suspect you are a very generous person.

I really like this. The Twilight kisses past midnight and Dawn at different times are almost as good as tarnished armour with no pocket for a watch. ☺
